About Us
Hemmings Classics has been born from a life long passion of classic and sports cars by Chris Hemmings.
Chris at the age of 13 was stripping and rebuilding petrol lawn mowers. By the time he was 15 he had his first car a 1963 Morris Mini 850 which was a wreck that he bought back to life with new sills, new A panels and a complete engine rebuild. His next car, an Escort Mk2, he did a complete respray. His practical skills was honed by serving an aircraft apprenticeship. At that time he moved onto Scimitar GTE's and was forever working on his friends cars. Since those early days, when time allowed he has owned and restored TVR's and Lotus's as well as many modern day performance cars.
Now the time is right for Chris to combine his experience of classic cars and business management to pursue his life long ambition of offering a classic car inventory, associated services including car storage and maintainability and car transportation. All to be undertaken with honesty and respect to his clients.

Remember if and when you visit Chris, he can make a cracking mug of tea and enjoys a chat and some banter.
